Share a link is now live: Export → Share a link uploads the design and gives you a link anyone can open (kept for 30 days).
Count me as a user is now live: about a minute after you start, SimpCAD X asks once if you'd like to be counted. It sends only a random number and the version, once a day. Change it any time in Settings → Online.
Nothing is sent unless you say yes, and SimpCAD X still works fully offline.

Overhang map: the model turns plain grey and overhangs get warning stripes, so they show on red (or any colour) parts. Untick "Grey model" to keep your colours.
Physics: with several parts selected, each part is checked on its own and falls on its own in the drop test, landing on the others.
Small windows: nothing is cut off any more. Tools that don't fit move into a "More" drop-down; Group and Ungroup stay on the bar.
Parts with their own Length, Width and Height settings show them once, and the size boxes change the real part instead of stretching it.
Cut to fit: "Middle of geometry" moves the connector clear of the other cuts instead of giving up.

Move arrows (left side, or press A): drag the red, green or blue arrow to move a part along one direction only, even when it is inside another part. Type the exact distance in the box.
Settings button at the top with quick on/off switches (move arrows, overhang map, rotate arrows, snapping, shadows, X-ray, beta tools).
New logo: a bold X in the SimpCAD colours.
Rotate arrows are Enhanced by default.
Drop a shape onto a face and you can use that face as the workplane in one click; or right-click any face → Use this face as workplane.

Count me as a user: sends only a random number and the version once a day, so the maker can see how many people use SimpCAD X.
Both only appear once the free online service is set up. Nothing is ever sent without your OK.

The readable text inside the program is now scrambled in release builds, so the code is much harder to copy.
Other companies' names removed from labels (for example "Tinkercad style" is now "Classic").

New Car Parts category: wheels, tyres, rims, axles, chassis, body, seats, spoiler, lights, exhaust, bumper, number plate.
New Engine Parts category: piston, con rod, crankshaft, camshaft, engine block, valve cover, valves, spark plug, pulley, flywheel, air filter.
More parts in every category: beams, brackets, hooks, honeycomb, grilles, nuts and screws, couplers, rails, ball joints, fans, switches, sensors, bevel gears, worms, sprockets, timing pulleys, 26 new symbols and 9 more boards.
Every new part is checked watertight at its smallest and biggest settings.

Cut type: Planar or Dovetail (pieces slide together on a rail).
Move or tilt each cut with exact numbers; the cut you are editing lights up orange.
Custom connectors: plug, dowel, snap or thread; prism or frustum; circle, square, hexagon or triangle; size and depth with tolerances; middle of geometry or auto spots.
After cutting: leave the pieces in place, or spread them on the bed: place on cut, keep orientation, flip or biggest face. Pegs always point up.

Unlimited undo and redo.
Parameters: name a size (width = 60) and use it or a formula in any box; change it and every part follows.
Lock the distance between two parts; it holds when the other part moves or changes size.
Overhang map (Inspect > Overhangs): shows what needs support, with a Best orientation button.
Export > Curve detail: export curves 2× or 4× smoother than on screen.

Big, clear Group and Ungroup buttons that light up when they can be used.
New colour picker with presets and a colour mixer; your mixes are kept.
Messages no longer cover the screen; the new Console (bottom right) keeps every message.
Shape tiles sit on soft cards with a crisp shadow.
Settings > What's new: this list.

Hidden until you turn on Settings > Beta tools.
Shows live progress while it works, and can be cancelled.
Clearly marked BETA: it uses Ollama, a separate free program, not SimpCAD X itself.
